WFR Responds to House Fire

WFR responded to a residential structure fire at 1706 Grandview Drive NE at approximately 12:20 pm on Wednesday. The fire was reported by the home owner.

Watertown Fire Rescue Responds to Western Area Power Administration for Transformer Fire

WFR was called to Western Area Power Administration for a transformer fire at approx. 12:30. Upon arrival crews were met by a salvage company who were in the process of removing components from an transformer that was no longer in service.

Fire at Watertown Landfill

A fire was reported at the Watertown Landfill at 45605 175 St at 2041. When crews arrived, we found a large pile of garbage burning and fire continuing down the slope of the partially buried garbage.

WFR made sure the fire was contained and waited for landfill employees to arrive. They started extinguishing the fire by burying with clay using a dozer and scrapers. WFR remained on scene for almost 2 hours. No injuries... Read on...
