The City of Watertown announced the Watertown Community Center has been renamed after entering into a naming rights agreement with Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. The Watertown Community Center will officially be called Prairie Lakes Wellness Center.

Reede Construction, Inc., a contractor for the South Dakota Department of Transportation, will be closing Highway 81 between 3rd Ave. N. and 4th Ave. N. in Watertown on Monday, April 11, depending on weather.
