4th Avenue Yard Waste Drop Off Site Is Open

The Watertown Regional Landfill will open the 4th Avenue SW Yard Waste Drop-Off Site starting on Tuesday, October 10th. The closing date is subject to weather conditions.

Multiple Vehicle and Residential Burglaries

Between September 5, 2017 and October 2, 2017, the Watertown Police Department has taken multiple reports of vehicle and residential burglaries. These burglaries have taken place in various locations of the city and Lake Kampeska.

Temporary Sump Pump Variance

As of October 15th, any home or business that needs to continue operating a sump pump discharging clear water may request a variance to discharge to the sanitary sewer. The temporary variance is from October 15th to April 15th.

The City of Watertown would like to remind all contractors, developers, and individuals disturbing the ground to use “Best Management Practices (BMPs)” to minimize sediment and other construction related debris leaving construction sites.

As part of a recent telephone scam the Watertown Police Department's phone number has been
"spoofed" in order to have the intended target answer the call.
