WFR Responds to a Single Vehicle Accident

Units from Watertown Fire Rescue responded at 2320 hours Monday night to a single vehicle accident.

WFR responded to two separate vehicle fires on August 13 2017.

29th Street SE Reconstruction Project to Begin

Reconstruction on 29th Street SE from Hwy 212 to just south of 13th Avenue South will begin on Monday, August 7th, 2017.

The reconstruction project consists of removing the existing asphalt and base, adding additional base and placing a new concrete surface. The schedule completion date for the project is October 10th, 2017.

Update - 1st Avenue NW Rail Crossing Closure Project

Construction on 1st Avenue NW from 3rd Street to Kemp Avenue has begun on Monday, July 24th, 2017. The project consists of removing the existing at grade railroad crossing with 1st Avenue NW.

Watertown Fire Rescue Responds to House and Garage Fire

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to the area of 1st St and 5th Ave NW at 11:13 a.m. on Sunday July 23 for a house and garage fire.

WFR responded to two separate vehicle accidents on Saturday 7/22/2017.

SCAM ALERT

As part of a recent telephone scam the Watertown Police Department's phone number has been
"spoofed" in order to have the intended target answer the call.

WFR responded to a house fire about three miles southeast of Watertown at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
