Derby Downs is a facility located at the junction of 32nd St West and Golf Course Road (Co. Hwy 12) in NW Watertown that provides community members the access to rent a clubhouse that features meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, restrooms and playground. It also features a rodeo arena that may be rented for various purposes.
Beginning January 1, 2005 the Park and Rec Department took over the operation of Derby Downs, including both the clubhouse and rodeo grounds. We have implemented a few changes.
- Reservations can be made by calling our main office at (605) 882-6260.
- Reservations can only be made for the fiscal year in which you are calling.
- The fee to reserve the facility is $30.00 per day and requires a $50.00 damage / security deposit.
- No reservations will be allowed in the months of: December – March.
