The main office is located in the City Auditorium (125 South Broadway). Our main office houses the Director of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Superintendent, Parks and Forestry Superintendent, Office Manager and Secretary / Receptionist.
Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00Pm. During these times this office handles all business transactions and registrations associated with all sub-divisions. The City Auditorium is also the primary facility for all indoor Park and Rec programs.
Parks & Forestry Division
The Parks Division is responsible for maintaining over 21 Public Parks, a recreational trail system, indoor and outdoor ice rinks, Skate Park, boat ramp and docks, Kiddie Fishing Pond and Pier, Mclaughlin Wildlife Sanctuary, (6) sand volleyball courts, disc golf course, a four field baseball complex, a seven field softball complex and an eight field soccer complex..
There is no fee for the use of public parks, although picnic shelters may be reserved for special occasions.
The Forestry Division is responsible for approximately 20,000 public trees located along the boulevards, parks and other property owned by the city. The major role of the division is to eliminate dangerous conditions and control the spread of disease.

The Recreation Division is responsible for over 50 youth and adult programs throughout the year, operating the Aquatic Center, Ice Arena, Skate Park and Disc Golf Course. Programs are structured for open or league play.
Fees for participants vary and can be seen by viewing both the Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer Brochures.
