The Skate Park at 314 21st St. SW (west of the Koch Complex) is free to use and open from dawn to dusk. It’s designed for skateboarding, in-line skating, and BMX biking, and welcomes all ages and skill levels. The facility is closed when wet, during park maintenance, or during scheduled activities.
Skate Park Rules
‣ Helmets are required for all skaters.
‣ Keep the park clean and use trash cans.
‣ No graffiti, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or glass containers.
‣ No scooters allowed.
‣ Reckless behavior will not be tolerated.
Skate Smart
‣ Protective equipment required: helmets.
‣ Recommended: wrist supports, knee pads, and elbow pads.
‣ Do not skate when surfaces are wet or icy.
‣ Know your limits and skate within your ability.
‣ Falling or collisions can cause serious injury.
The Skate Park is free for all participants.
