Current Construction Projects
Park & Rec Improvement Projects No. 2018
This project includes resurfacing of a segment of roadway at Mount Hope Cemetery. Work is expected to be completed by October 16, 2020
Neighborhood Street Reconstruction Project No. 2004
This project covers the reconstruction of 5th Avenue S, between 1st & 2nd Streets W, to include asphalt surfacing, and new curb & gutter. This project will also provide resurfacing of 14th Avenue NE between 19th Street NE and 25th Street NE. All work is expected to be completed by October 16, 2020.
Animal Care Building, Bramble Park Zoo Project No. 2029
This project is for the construction of the Animal Care Building at the Bramble Park Zoo. This project is expected to be completed by June 1, 2021.
Lake Kampeska Final Trail Loop Project No. 1726
This project is for the construction of approximately 4900 feet of a new asphalt trail along South Lake Drive, beginning near the intersection of Pompeska Drive and South Lake Drive, and ending near the intersection of Spooner Drive and South Lake Drive. Included in the project will be a water service, benches, wayfinding signs, and retaining walls. Work is expected to be completed by November 1, 2020.
Milling & AC Mat Construction Project No. 2002
This is an annual pavement maintenance project that will consist of milling & overlaying of various streets around town. Work is expected to be completed by October 16, 2020.
Pavement Rehabilitation - Crack Sealing & Seal Coating Project No. 2006
This is an annual pavement maintenance project that will consist of crack sealing, and seal coating with fog seal of approximately 110,850 S.Y. of roadway and airport apron. All work is expected to be completed by November 30, 2020.
Pavement Rehabilitation - Large Patches Project No. 2005
This is an annual pavement maintenance project that include the removal of areas of deteriorated asphalt where a larger patch is needed, in various locations around town. All work is expected to be completed by October 16, 2020.
