Chris Christenson was born and raised in Watertown and graduated Watertown High School in 1994. He worked for the city of Watertown for eight years prior to becoming the Animal Control Officer in January of 2015.
Chris and his wife have been married for nearly ten years and have two children.
Wildlife has been part of Chris’ life since he was a child. Chris is a member of the Clark County Pro Pheasant Chapter and has supported many other various hunting and fishing preservation groups throughout the years. When not on duty you will most likely find Chris hunting or fishing with friends and family.
In April, 2015, Chris attended the National Animal Care and Control Association Conference hosted by Colorado State University. Chris is a steward in the local AFSCME Union #2488 and looks forward to becoming more involved in the Watertown community.
