The Upper Big Sioux River Watershed Project is an EPA Section 319 program offering cost share incentives to landowners within the boundaries of the upper Big Sioux River watershed to install and maintain clean water practices.
Water monitoring includes water samples of two points in Lake Kampeska and Lake Pelican, and four points on the Upper Big Sioux River. Kampeska water levels are monitored at the phosphorus treatment facility on Lake Kampeska.
