WFR responded to a fire alarm at 901 14th Ave NE. The cause of the fire alarm activation was determined to be burnt food in a microwave oven. Fire department personnel set up a fan to clear the area of smoke.

WFR wants to remind everyone to test their smoke detectors monthly.
