On 04/11/2018 at approximately 9:26 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Skyline Drive for an equipment violation. The vehicle did not come a stop immediately upon the officer activating the emergency lights but stopped after approximately a block and a half. During the course of the stop, the officer observed indicators of criminal activity and requested a WPD K9 officer to respond to assist. The K9 indicated to the odor of narcotics emitting from inside of the vehicle. Methamphetamine and marijuana paraphernalia with residue was located in the vehicle. The 38 year old driver, Travis Stadheim was also on probation for drug charges. Travis was arrested for possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than two ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, ingesting a controlled substance, ingesting, and failure to stop at the signal of a law enforcement officer.
