[ARCHIVED] WFR Responds to two vehicle accident

banner-fd

At about 830am Thursday morning WFR was called to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of 9th Street and 2nd Ave SE.  Two vehicles were damaged in the front end causing fluids and debris to be spilled onto the roadway.  EMS personnel assessed the drivers of both vehicles and they both declined further medical care on scene.  Fire personnel cleaned up the debris and fluids and the roadway was reopened after about 30 minutes.

WFR would like to remind everyone, with the time change, the sun can be a real driving hazard early in the mornings.  To ensure the best visibility, make sure the frost is cleared from the windows and road grime is washed off to reduce glare.
