On November 14th at 3:02 PM Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to a grass fire 6 miles south of Watertown. Upon arriving on scene crews found a small fire that was burning in a ditch and some cattails in a slough next to the ditch. Crews extinguished the fire quickly. Crews were on scene for about 20 minutes extinguishing the remaining hot spots. The total area that burned was less then 1 acre. A cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
