The Watertown Area Task Force will be holding their 50th and final weekly coronavirus briefing on Tuesday June 30th. Since beginning our daily briefings on March 19th we have seen our local Covid-19 situation stabilize. We have also seen the rate of new information and recommendations slowing. After Tuesday June 30th we will hold briefings on an as-needed basis. We will continue to regularly update our Watertown Covid-19 Facebook page.
We want to remind everyone Covid-19 is still spreading. People continue to become ill and are at risk to be hospitalized from this disease. Therefore, we ask the public to stay vigilant and continue to practice prevention activities. This includes social distancing, wearing a mask in public when appropriate, washing your hands frequently, and staying home when sick. It’s important we all do our part to protect ourselves and the community from COVID-19.
