The Watertown Area Task Force will be holding a COVID-19 informational briefing for the media at City Hall on Thursday, August 27th at 3:00 pm. We will continue holding our briefings on Thursday’s at 3:00 pm. Representatives from schools, health care, businesses, and organizations representing the Watertown Area Task Force will continue to present on a variety of topics.
Our briefings are on Facebook live via the page “2020 Watertown COVID-19”, City of Watertown YouTube channel, and GovTV. We will continue to update our Watertown Covid-19 Facebook page regularly.
We want to remind everyone Covid-19 is still spreading. People continue to become ill and are at risk of being hospitalized from this disease. Therefore, we ask the public to stay vigilant and continue to practice prevention activities. This includes social distancing, wearing a mask in public when appropriate, washing your hands frequently, and staying home when sick. We all must do our part to protect ourselves and the community from COVID-19.
