The Watertown Area COVID-19 Task Force will be holding an informational briefing for the media at City Hall. The briefing will take place on Monday, January 25th at 2:00 pm.
We will have representatives from Prairie Lakes Healthcare System, Brown Clinic, and Sanford Health in Watertown. All three will provide an update to the community regarding the distribution of COVID19 vaccinations.
Our briefings are on Facebook live via the page “2020 Watertown COVID-19”, City of Watertown YouTube channel, and GovTV. Following this briefing, we will continue to hold briefings on an as needed basis. We will continue to update our Watertown Covid-19 Facebook page regularly.
We want to remind everyone Covid-19 is still spreading. People continue to become ill and are at risk of being hospitalized from this disease. Therefore, we ask the public to stay vigilant and continue to practice prevention activities. This includes social distancing, wearing a mask in public when appropriate, washing your hands frequently, and staying home when sick. We all must do our part to protect ourselves and the community from COVID-19.
