In accordance with the Codington County Burn Ban the city of Watertown is implementing a burn ban of recreational fires. Any outdoor burning is strictly prohibited to include recreational fire pits.  The ban has been placed due to the extreme fire danger as result of the low relative humidity, abnormally dry conditions and high winds.  The ban will be reviewed weekly.
