On 5-4-21 at 7 pm, the Watertown Police Department, in cooperation with the Codington County Sheriff’s Office, conducted alcohol compliance checks in the City of Watertown and Codington County. 

We are pleased to announce that all establishments checked in the city passed compliance. The following businesses were contacted Dakota Butcher West, Discount Liquor, Cowboy Liquor #2, Highway 81 Liquor, and LT’s Liquor. 

Establishments in the County were also contacted. Businesses that passed include South Fork, Tip Top, Waverly Steak House, Meyers Rec, Sidetrack, Miss Kitty’s, Rooster, and Country Road Barn. 

One establishment failed compliance, The Double Barrel Bar in Henry. The Codington County Sheriff’s Office issued the bartender a citation for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.
