Watertown Fire Rescue responded to the intersection of 2nd Ave and 6th St SE on Saturday June 26th at approximately 3:10 pm for a 2 vehicle accident.  On scene fire rescue personnel found a Chevy Silverado and a Chevy Malibu had collided in the intersection causing the Chevy Silverado to come to a stop on the corner striking a fire hydrant.  Ambulance personnel transported 2 patients to Prairie Lakes Hospital with unknown injuries.  Watertown Fire Rescue responded with 2 ambulances and 1 engine.  Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind residents to be watchful and drive with caution while traveling through uncontrolled intersections.
