on June 30th, 2021 WFR responded to a tractor on fire on Sioux Conifer near the casino.  WFR responded with Engine 1, Tender 1 and Brush 2.  Tractor was driving down Sioux conifer heading south with a hay rake attached when the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine and eventually setting the tractor on fire.  Reporting party relates tractor is fully engulfed and part of the ditch is on fire as well.  Engine 1 arrived on scene and immediately put the fire out in the west ditch and then turned their attention to the tractor.  Tractor fire was extinguished and cooled.  Brush 2 assisted in extinguishing the grass on fire and Tender 1 supplied water.  Crews were on scene for over and hour.  Tractor is a total loss, no injuries were reported. On scene, as well, was Emergency manager, and Sheriff Deputies for traffic control.
