FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, August 19th, 2021, weather permitting, the Watertown Street Division will be constructing a new turn lane on Willow Creek Drive adjacent to 8th Ave. N. Therefore, the middle lanes of Willow Creek Drive from Highway 212 to 8th Ave. N. will be closed to traffic. This project will consist of the removal of existing curb and gutter in the center island area to add a northbound turn lane. Pending any unforeseen issues, the work is expected to be completed by September 1st, 2021.
As with any road construction project, motorists should exercise caution observing all traffic control devices & flaggers in and around the construction area(s).
