[ARCHIVED] Increased criminal activity in Southeast Watertown

In the past several weeks, the Watertown Police Department has taken several reports from the
southeast part of Watertown. The reports involve burglaries of garages, vehicles as well as
occupied and unoccupied residences.

During the same time period, Watertown Fire Rescue has responded to suspicious structural
and vehicle fires in this same part of Watertown.

It is unknown if the increased amount of criminal activity and fires are related at this time. The
Watertown Police Department is asking for the public’s help in reporting any suspicious
activity. If suspicious activity is observed immediately contact the Watertown Police
Department at 882-6210.

The WPD reminds you to secure your property to prevent yourself from becoming a victim and
do not approach unknown individual(s).

A reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person(s) involved.
