Watertown Fire Responds to Dumpster Fire


WFR was called to a dumpster fire on Monday, 7/18/22 at about 7:00pm.  The fire occurred at 1604 4th St NE, behind a new construction apartment complex.  Crews arrived on scene to find some smoldering insulation in the bottom of the metal roll off container.  The fire was was found and reported by a Watertown Police Officer on patrol.  Crews responded with 2 apparatus and 3 staff members.  There is currently construction going on at the complex, but there was no cause determined for the fire.  Crews used very little water and were only on scene for 20 minutes.  There were no injuries reported.  Crews cleared scene at about 7:20pm.
