Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to Glacial Lakes Rubber and Plastic at 700 Pheasant Ridge Drive at approximately 1:53 pm on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, for the report of a structure fire. Battalion 1, Engine 4, Engine 3, Medic 4, and Medic 3 responded to the incident. Upon arrival on scene smoke was coming from a large commercial structure. Initial crews made entry and knocked down the fire at the area of origin, while a secondary crew performed a primary search of the building. Plant workers advised that everyone was out of the structure and accounted for, which was confirmed by the search of the building. After the initial knockdown, the fire crews searched for extension into adjacent machines. There was significant smoke throughout the entire structure, and crews spent about an hour and a half ventilating the structure. Crews were on scene for about 2 hours. One plant worker was evaluated and transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital for undisclosed reasons. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
