Watertown Fire Rescue responded northwest of Lake Kampeska on Hwy 20 and 449th Ave Friday around 9:30 p.m. for an accident with a deer. A large deer was struck by a Dodge Ram 1/2 ton pickup.
Watertown Fire Rescue, Codington County Sheriff and Highway Patrol officers were on scene. Damage was sustained to the front of the pickup, fire rescue personnel removed antifreeze and debris from the road. No injuries were reported from the accident.
