WFR Responds to Motorcycle Accident

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a car vs motorcycle accident Friday afternoon on East Kemp in downtown Watertown.  Upon arrival, crews found one patient that needed treatment and transport to Prairie Lakes Hospital.  That patient that was treated on scene was the motorcycle operator.  The driver of the SUV was uninjured.  There was a small fluid spill and some debris that was cleaned up on scene.  WFR responded with an ambulance and a fire truck, and was on scene for approximately 30 minutes.  Traffic was shut down on Kemp during the accident.  It appeared a west bound vehicle was trying to park on the south side of Kemp, and pulled in front of the east bound motorcycle.  Motorcycle operator was not wearing a helmet, SUV driver was restrained at the time of the accident.  WFR would like to remind drivers that Kemp Ave is now a 2-Way street, and there are several stop signs in the downtown area.
