On May 21st shortly after 4:00 p.m Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a fire involving a trailer used for transporting welding equipment behind the Rooster Bar at 5920 9th Ave SW.  Once on scene firefighters found the trailer was fully involved in flames.  The owner of the trailer was on scene and was using a skid steer to ensure the flames did not spread from the grass to nearby equipment.  Firefighters stretched a hoseline and extinguished the fire.  WFR's Tender truck was requested to the scene for an additional water source due to the nature of the equipment being stored in the trailer.  Crews were on scene for roughly an hour before returning the property back over to the owner.
